DESCRIPTION:
SYSTANE® BALANCE lubricating eye drops a lipid-based lubricating eye drop for the treatment of dry eyes.
SYSTANE® BALANCE lubricating eye drop is a lipid-based lubricating eye drop for the treatment of dry eyes.
The SYSTANE® BALANCE Lubricating Eye Drops moisturize the surface of the eye, replenish and stabilize the lipid layer of the tear film and reduce excessive tear film evaporation.
The SYSTANE® BALANCE Lubricating Eye Drops provide long-lasting relief from dry eye symptoms, relieving burning sensation and irritation
The SYSTANE® BALANCE Lubricating Eye Drops is a sterile white emulsion containing propylene glycol, hydroxypropyl guar, mineral oil, dimyristoylphosphatidylglycerol, polyoxyl (40) stearate, sorbitan tristearate, boric acid, sorbitol, disodium edetate, and 0.001% POLYQUAD® (polyquaternium-1) preservative. May contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide to adjust pH.
INDICATIONS (indications): SYSTANE® BALANCE Lubricating Eye Drops are used to treat dry eyes: they temporarily relieve the burning sensation and irritation caused by dry eyes.
AVOIDANCE (reasons why not to use): SYSTANE® BALANCE lubricating eye drops are contraindicated in case of allergy to the ingredients.
USE:
SYSTANE® BALANCE lubricating eye drops can be used throughout the day as needed. It can also be used to treat dry eyes caused by contact lens wear: before putting on contact lenses or after removing lenses, drop 1-2 drops into the eyes and blink a few times.
WARNINGS:
It is important to follow the instructions of your eye doctor and the instructions for use. If you experience persistent discomfort in your eyes or severe watering, blurred vision or redness of the eyes, consult your doctor as the condition may worsen.
Temporary blurred vision or other visual disturbances may affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. If you develop blurred vision after use, wait for your vision to clear before driving or operating machinery.
PRECAUTIONS:
- For ophthalmic use only.
- If the safety ring is loose after removing the cap, remove it before use.
- To avoid contamination, never touch the dropper of the bottle to any surface.
- If the emulsion becomes discoloured, the product should not be used.
- Screw the cap back on after use.
- Storage at 30°C or lower.
- Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
- Use within the expiry date indicated on the packaging
- DANGER WARNING: Do not use the product if the protective seal is damaged or missing, or if the tamper-evident cap is damaged. Do not use an opened or damaged product.
- The product may be used up to six months after opening. After the first opening, discard the remaining solution after 6 months.
- Keep out of the reach of children.

Package:
SYSTANE® BALANCE lubricating eye-drop emulsion comes in plastic bottles of 3-10 ml (one or more bottles). Not all packages may be commercially available
